Ch-ch-ch-changes!

Over the past four years, it's been my pleasure to shepherd the Small Act community.

I've had a ball...

...Sending people weird things in the mail...

...Creating strange and interactive holiday greetings, like

...Writing about brand-new social networks and tools...

...Ranting...

...Inspiring people...

...Teaching stuff...

(Thanks to the Foundation Center, Good360, Art Institute of Washington, Emerson College and others for all the awesome teaching opportunities! You can see all my slide decks here.)

...Growing our Twitter following from 70 people to THIS...

...And rocking out at conferences like the NTC and SXSW.

So it's with mixed feelings that I announce today is my last day with Small Act. I'm going to be taking on a new challenge working as a senior UX consultant for Aquilent, starting next week. While I'm excited for the new opportunity, I will really miss a lot of things about Small Act, particularly the awesome community that's brought me so much joy these past few years. (Of course, I'll still see you all on social media...I just won't get to interact with you all full-time anymore, as part of my job! I'll miss that.)

I've worked hard the past couple of weeks to make sure the transition goes smoothly. I'm confident and excited about the future of Small Act - there are lots of exciting things down the road for the company that you're all going to like, so stay tuned!

I wish you all well, I will see you on Twitter/Google+/etc., and I hope our paths will cross (in person) again soon!

(If you want to stay in touch - and I hope you do - and/or if you want to know know more about where I'm going and what I'll be doing, feel free to hit me up via my personal Twitter.)
